Welcome to Bits and Giggles, a place where I talk about technology, design, fashion, and entertainment! From Zuck’s metaverse to the return of low-rise jeans, I offer my unfiltered thoughts on various news and trends.

I read and watch things on the Internet and plagiarize people’s opinions. When I am not doom-scrolling on Tiktok or Twitter, I am most certainly binge watching celebrity interviews and true crime documentaries. If I’m feeling adventurous, I open the slew of unread emails I have from TechCrunch, Morning Brew, and 20+ other newsletters. And if I’m feeling extra adventurous, I go outside and touch grass.

Around August of last year, I started writing weekly blog posts on my website. I wrote about events in my personal life, laced with existential thoughts and social commentary. As I became overwhelmed with schoolwork, internship, fellowships, and clubs, I stopped writing in order to save the semblance of mental health I had left.

Now that I am in my final year of college, I feel like I am nearing a bittersweet ending. The ending of a story that spanned 1.5 years of California wildfires and PG&E outages, and 1.5 years of quarantine and Zoom University. The ending of a story in which I, as the self-proclaimed main character, underwent much needed character development.

I hope to get back into my blogging routine, although at a more sustainable pace. This will be a place where I vocalize my stream of consciousness into the void. If you happen to read this, congratulations! You will probably wait an eternity before I release the next post. :)

Ciao!
